Newborn babies are a full-time (overtime) job. During the postpartum time, my greatest priority is simply to make sure the baby and I are healthy and well.
Babies change very quickly, and it’s important to bond and savor your time with your newborn. However, you also need to take care of YOU during this crazy time when you’re giving to someone else 24/7. Ask yourself:
- What gives me energy?
- What helps me clear my head?
- What activities make me feel “like myself”?
